Excellent service and speed of delivery. The material is the best I've worked in my very short career with lasering will hopefully do a lot more business.
Im just starting out of the Laser journey and like probably a lot of people thought that you can use any type of wood from a local DIY store, how wrong was I. I came across Hobarts after searching online who sell lots of different types of laser safe materials. Great prices, delivery was quick and the materials are also great too and safe. Definitely recommend Hobarts who i will be using more in the future. They even cut some pieces to the size of your laser bed. Brilliant.
I bought one hundred 300x300 x 3.2 mm mdf sheets and they are as expected, decent quality, minimal cut variation, not sanded but still pretty smooth. I settled on 28mm/s at 30 % on my 80W and that has worked for all sheets so far with only small variation in cut. 4 Stars as the whole 100 came wrapped in a single layer of card held together with clear tape that was wound around it with no apparent plan or method. 100 of these is fairly heavy and as there was no protection there was some corner damage to several sheets, but as I'm cutting those off I didn't make a fuss. Hopefully my next order gets a different packer...
